East Gill Force Lower, Keld, North Yorks by Steve Smith
Nothing like the sun, / Keeps you from tumbling in the dark / Thought out once or twice, / You figure out where you gotta start / All the scars have filled my heart with pain, / Here you are just to wash it all away / And you set me free. Everyday is like a walk in the park now and I’m feeling like I’m so brand new / Love is clear as the color of water and I’m so glad I found you Nikon D300 – 28.12.08

Hdr on Fire. by TallGuy
We were coming back to the car at Beck Hole and I noticed the sky was starting to do special things.. Normally I would have started to find things to photograph, but I had a hungry grandson with me.. so I took a couple of shots and enjoyed the sunset as I drove home. When I looked at the photo’s the lower part of the photo was too dark, so I ran it through the hdr process with striking results. The sunset was never this good, but one can wish :-) Beck Hole, North Yor Moors National Park.

"Fence lines, Farms, and Furrows" by Bradley Shawn Rabon
i absolutely love exploring the North Yorkshire Moors, and whilst out one day, I passed this farm which i had never noticed before. Perhaps it was the way the sun was hitting the farm or the field, but it got my attention. I took this shot initially to use in teaching about leading lines. I was so pleased with the way it turned out that I have been using it my local exhibitions ever since. It really draws you in. / / HP PhotoSmart C945 bridge camera / f/2.9 / 1/2000 / ISO 100

Bay Town, Robin Hood's Bay. by TallGuy
I’m beginning to accept that sometimes cars have to be in shot… I suppose in years to come people may look back and say what a quaint car… maybe :-) Bay Town though will always be quaint.. until the sea gets it way… note the massive sea wall to the right, attempting to prevent more houses slippping into the sea. Bay Town is in the North York Moors National Park.

Aysgarth Lower Falls, Yorkshire Dales by Steve Liptrot
Featured in the Yorkshire Grit Group and the UK National Parks group DEC 2008. Surely anyone who knows anything about the Yorkshire Dales knows about Aysgarth Falls. They are the most visited of all in the Dales because of their location, close to the A684 Wensleydale arterial road. Aysgarth Falls is a series of cascading falls separated into three forces, High, Middle and Low. High Force is the most vivacious of the group whereas Middle Force had the largest single drop of around 2 metres. Low Force is the most serene.

A Yorkshire Sunrise by Andrew Leighton
Taken not far from Skipton, Yorkshire. The hamlet of Embsay is just visible in the lower left corner. This would have made a wonderful print but there is too much camera shake on it, serves me right for not using the tripod I had strapped to my backpack, lol. :) Nikon D40 – 18-55mm

Welcome ! by Nick Hodgson
My local – the Swan in Addingham – commissioned me to shoot a local scene for their Christmas card. We don’t get much snow these days so a festive landscape was impossible – so I looked inside the pub. It took a few pints to get it right but they settled on this one.
