Asian elephant abstract...... by jdmphotography
Asian elephant Amazingly, Asian elephants are more closely related to the extinct woolly mammoth than to the African elephant. The elephant’s tusks are elongated teeth (upper incisors) and tend to be smaller in Asian bull elephants than in the African. The four grinding teeth (molars) wear out and are replaced by new teeth from the back of the jaws; the elephant gets through six sets of teeth during its lifetime. Where they live India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia and Southern China / Habitat Mountains and forest What they eat Vegetation, fruit, twigs, small branches, bark and roots IUCN status Endangered !

Where Are Those Cows?? by Martin Hampson
This is a picture of my dear Border Collie “Shiney”. She is sadly no longer with us after losing a battle with liver cancer. As you can see she was very curious and in this photo is seen looking down from the balcony to the cows in the paddock below.

Camp Draft by Bekster
Camp draft…where a rider and his horse have to segregate 1 cow from 20 in camp. Once they have chosen their cow they give the call to open the gates and out on the field they have to manouveur this cow around 2 posts in a figure eight and then through the middle of 2 posts at the bottom of the field. Not an easy task. I only saw 4 riders successfully achieve this out of 100’s of competitors.
