Museum Abstraction by john403
Since its conception, the Santiago Calatrava addition to the Milwaukee Art Museum has become one of the most photographed buildings in Wisconsin. This particular shot adds a different dimension. I wanted to convey an abstraction type of feeling.

The Waterfall by john403
I photographed this waterfall, located within Whitnall Park the day after torrential rains hit Wisconsin last June. I was unable to get to it the day of the rains because of the flooding throughout the area. I used an extra slow shutter speed to accent the water flow. This waterfall is normally just a trickle, but not on this day! / Canon Rebel/XT Shutter Priority, 1/13 @ f/11, ISO 100, Canon 27mm

~ Baby it's Cold Outside / Acutally it was -27 below wind chill factor by Tim Denny
This is the lighthouse in Keewaunee, Wisconsin. / I took this photo in the November of 2007 / You will notice what appears to be clouds are not cluds at all. The cloud type formation rising off the water is really steam rising off the water because to the tempreture difference between the water and the air. / My to sons Scott Denny and Jack Denny / were out doing some photography. We had a photo shoot planned for this day (Saturday) but what we did not have planned is that it would be, YES, -27 below Zero with the wind chill factor. / Well many of you havd seen the movie “Forrest Gump” and whers he says “Stupid is as Stupid does”, well, that was us, we were faithful to our orignal photo shoot plan and we were as stupid is as stupid does. / However, no matter what the weather we had a great time. / There were times my son Jack said he could not feel his fingers, but like a faithul ole stupid photographer he kept on clicking away as did Scott and I and in the end we managed to come away with a winner or two. Hope you enjoy Please view Larger Thanks / Tim Denny
