Study in garlic by Simon Duckworth
Recently i saw a photo of garlic displayed on a wood board, it was a wondeful study in light and tone. I was inspired by this and have made my own, in no way is this like the one i saw. But i still enjoyed creating it. / HDR of three images +1, 0 -1 , no flash. Processed in PS then softened a little. / ISO 125 / 1/6s at f4.5

About This Group
Welcome to the “Art of Nursing”. This group is formed by nurses, for nurses, to encourage and promote all forms of art by nurses. We recognize that we come from a unique perspective and have much to offer the world of art.
We have seen the best in people and the worst in people. We have seen the beginning of life, and all to often, are there at the end of life. We have saved many patients and have also lost many patients. From both spectrums we have seen every thing in between.
This group is open to any nurse, active or retired, or any nursing student. The purpose is to promote learning in our art form, have challenges and create a platform for nurses to showcase their art. We also want to promote active communication between our peers in other countries, as well as interact locally when available.
Photography, digital art, any art medium is welcome here, including writing. Please limit your uploads to 2 images or writings per day to allow the members to absorb what is posted. This also allows other members the chance to have their work looked at. If the art triggers the “not fit” filter, it doesn’t belong in this group. We encourage journaling that promotes communication among our peers. The Red Bubble group rules also apply here.
We are very open to suggestions and ideas. Please contact either one of us.
