Yea, its so exciting for me, I will post pictures soon on this site. But I went into a newsagents today and bought the magazine (issue no. 68) and guess what I have a 7 page spread. Its so fabulous. The editor Trevor Lang did a really good story for me and the pictures are so great. Redbubble did not get mentioned but that must be for a reason? But its something for me to be proud of. I hope that if you live in Australia you can go to your newsagents and buy it today…..its sealed so you can’t take a peak at it. But please buy it and tell me what you think. I am so excited to be published. BillyLee

I have started a new group which I am excited about and think many of you will be very interested in. It is called Simply the Best This group is different in that only winning images from the group challenges will be allowed. So any images in this group will be ‘simply the best’ in their category. Jared & I hope to see you all as members, and look forward to launching our first challenge in the next day or two.

My photograph Resting in her Cave has been chosen to feature in A Melbourne & Sydney Shooters Gallery & Events (Staged Photo Shoots). Just want to say thank you to the moderators of this group. Tonight is the artist reception for both my showing in the member gallery where I have 21 pieces of art and for the annual photographic display in the main gallery. I have both oils and photographs in the show. This is my second solo show and having it the Scarab Club is a real honor. The club celebrated it’s 100th anniversary and the member gallery (the lounge) is a fantastically historic place to be in. Large wooden beam transverse the ceilings and as you walk in you notice the signatures of past key members, presidents and artists like Norman Rockwell, Diego Rivera and others that have been members of the club at one point in time. The club has 6 large studios on the top floor (someday a dream of mine is to get one…). There will be snack foods made by my wife, beer and wine severed and both Shelby and I will take photos. I will post some here over the weekend. But if you are around tonight stop on by the reception is from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm…

I will by flying into Paris on Xmas morning. Celebrating the New Year in Paris then after that I will be based in Luxembourge. Does anyone know where to buy second had camera gear in sydney (canon). I think we should start up a swap and sell on red bubble so if we want to see our camera gear, upgrade or change brands it makes it easier for us. What r ur thoughts example I have a canon 450D I am wanting to sell a 100 – 300 zoom and looking to buy a macro (not sure what macro yet)

An experience I had with the paparazzi, 24/10/2008 Pink Concert in Martin Place, I was standing against a pole in Martin Place next to me was a man and his 3 year old we had been waiting there for a while 30 minutes no one else araound then Pink starts walking down next thing we know there are people all around us. This old fart of a paparazzi decided to to start pushing this way through until he reaches us he starts leaning and pushing me, which is fine i am a big boy and I will push back, he then decides to reach over and change the settings on my camera (manual setting to depth of field and then he lunges forward so we start falling over and the little girl was nearly crushed. The good thing was Pink saw this and the little girl got to meet Pink. The bad thing or should I say sad thing is that people have to act like this nearly hurting some little person. What would you do if you were in the situation? AND BTW IF THE PERSON WHO PUSHED US IS READING THIS NEXT TIME I MEET YOU I WILL NOT BE SO NICE…................. DAVE
