The fall colours in Nova Scotia can be so beautiful. This picture was taken from a spot in West Pennant called Hospital Hill. Hospital Hill is a couple of miles back in the woods but well worth the hike! When you climb to the top of the hill the views are spectacular, ocean in one direction and hills in the other.

  • Colorado is certainly known for it’s parks, and this one I happened upon out of the blue one day….it really is a majestic site, with these odd rock formations just jetting straight up from the earth, as if reaching for the sky. I was also lucky enough to capture the distant clouds as they were building for afternoon thunderstorms, later that day….spose you can say I like the sense of drama that they add to the image overall. / HDR processed, thoughts most welcomed! —-—-—-—-— See more on my website jdebordphoto.com / All artwork is © John De Bord, All Rights Reserved. • #243 Sunset From Scenic
    by MyInnereyeMike

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Taken on Scenic Drive. Carmel, California. November, 2007. There’s an interesting story behind this photograph, and #244, “Scenic & 8th. I was in a local camera store in Carmel, the manager of the store was telling me my camera was a toy because it wasn’t a high priced SLR, like he seels in the store. Obviously this annoyed me because i knew what my camera was capable of doing. So I left the store, walked down toward the beach, saw these Cypress trees, and took these shots in about five minutes. / I then walked back up to the camera store, and showed them to the manager, and the staff. They were impressed with the quality of the images. / I love my camera! I’m using the Panasonic Lumix FZ-50 That is what I used to take almost all the photographs in my portfolio. I’m satisfied with the performance of that camera. The images speak for themselves.

I saw a lone Kingfisher sitting in a tree … the oportunity to photograph this beautiful bird was fantastic and as I was doing my usual click and walk to get closer and still closer I realised the windmill was slowly looming into shot I dropped to my knees and moved the camera around and there it was….couldnt believe how it made me feel…hope you enjoy it too Sacred Kingfisher – Halcyon sancta / Found in the better watered and wooded parts of australia For more images of cozmist: / Busselton Jetty Images / Christmas Cards / Dogs / Birds / Scenery / Creatures

  • A date palm tree climber from West Bengal, India, who collects juice early in the morning and sells it in the market. This juice is often fermented and drunk as liquor. The juice is collected from a cut on the palm trunk and it takes 4-5 days to fill one earthen jug. What he gets in return is negligible. While enjoying the juice, you will feel the taste of the sweat of hardwork imulsed in it. SHOULD I MAKE IT BLACK AND WHITE ??
