Taken a few miles east of Leicester, near Allexton. Its that time in the UK, just before the wheat gets harvested – heavy heads beginning to nod gently under the weight of the grain, and the weather unable to decide whether it is summer or not, threatening to flatten the crop, just it is ready. Leicestershire is full of distant horizons like this, and the Barley is all but in now, much of the ground already having been put under the plough in readiness for the next crop.

To give an indication of the sheer size and scale of this cloud mass, on the bottom right of this image there are some full-sized pine trees and that small white dot next to them is a huge lighthouse sitting on the end of an island. . . Digital Camera

16”x 12” Watercolour painting on cold pressed paper of the sun setting from Long Island, Whitsundays. This painting is a memory of a trip my husband and I took earlier this year to the beautiful island. There were many breathtaking sunsets, with amazing rainbow colours and this was just one of them.

While we were out looking for land at Aldinga a few weeks ago we came across this sofa bed in the middle of the court. This is why you should have your camera on you at all times, never miss an opportunity! This photo was taken at the new Bayswood Housing development at Aldinga Beach, South Australia. The hills in the backround are the Willunga Hills. / We tryed to buy a block hear on stage 9 of the development but they all sold out in 15 minutes. This was about three months ago Update: Yah we got a block! Stage 10 / We had to ring up again & first in best dressed. We had 5 of us ring up to at 10am. We could not get through so we thought we missed again. Then my dad rang & said he got through. Then my mother in-law rang & she got through too. We had 2 blocks to choose from. / / PLEASE VIEW MY GALLERY @ Glenn Alderson Photography Abstract Sunrise & Sunset Ruins & Derelict Buildings Farms & Countryside All Seascapes Botany – Flora Childhood Black & White Birds & Creatures of Flight / © Copyright 2008 Glenn Alderson, All Rights Reserved. / Please note: The watermark shown above will not appear on purchased products.

In recent years this cemetery located in Savannah, Georgia is best known due to the book (and movie): “Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil” In addition some famous people are buried here, Johnny Mercer and Conrad Aiken are just to name a few. I like to walk in this cemetery because it is so peaceful and very interesting to look at. I like to go there early in the morning (when this photo was taken) when hardly anyone is there. Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery View from Doug Sky Lookout Mt Kaputar National Park, New South Wales. The Mt Kaputar (pronounced cap you tar) National Park lies to the east of Narrabri (approximately 53Km) and to the west of Barraba (approximately 55Km). Mt Kaputar, on the western edge of the Great Dividing Range, is the highest point until you reach Africa, and from its peak (on a clear day), about 10 percent of New South Wales is visible for 360º. The Mt Kaputar National Park is very much a local secret and holds a diverse range of vegetation and wildlife, including many threatened species. As much as 17 million years of erosion has sculpted the now extinct Nandewar volcano and what is left offers a majestic skyline of rocky outcrops with spectacular views. Mt Kaputar’s summit is 1524m and there are 11 marked walking tracks. Sets of Two / Camels Hump
