I took this pic when walking in the big jungle of «Le biodôme de Montréal» …....... :))) They started the sprinklers of mist«spray« at the same moment as my shot ,that ’s the reason for that misty effect . That bird is called «Roseate Spoonbill». /

Mooney Falls is a waterfall on Havasu Creek, in the northwest corner of the U.S. state of Arizona, near the town of Supai in the Havasupai Indian Reservation. It is named after prospector D. W. “James” Mooney who fell to his death trying to cross the canyon on a homemade ladder. Local Native Americans called it “Hualapai” or “Hualpai” falls. It is located about 1 kilometre downstream (i.e. to the north) of Havasu Falls, just past the large campground that lies between the two falls. Mooney Falls is accessible with considerable difficulty down a very steep trail (including two rock tunnels) that has been cut into the rock. Chains and a ladder at the bottom assist, but spray from the falls coats the dust-covered rock with water and reddish mud that makes climbing treacherous.

“Maize, a basic staple. Yet, glorious Indian Corn colours grace autumnal days. Each grain weaves a pattern in a tapestry meticulously designed. Piled upon each other on a farm stand, the rich colours of the corn ears make a delightful array of surprising beauty. / / I find inspiration in the simple elements of Nature by discovering, at a closer look, their elaborated forms, their patterns and intricacies, their sheer beauty. They teach me a lesson on survival, too. The colour in the Indian Corn grains is governed, each, by a different gene. “Autumn brings along a radiant tapestry of harvest crops. Walking along the many farm stands, I indulge myself in the sheer presence of these simple, yet unbelievably beautiful vegetables and fruits. Amidst glorious pumpkins in the colours of rainbow, gorgeous strawberries and glossy gourds, the exquisite patterns and colours of Indian Corn stand out. / / Piled casually upon each other in baskets, the corn ears make a delightful array of vibrant beauty. Gleaming like tiny jewels, each corn grain bears a distinctive colour. Golden hues, brown turning into copper, mauve turning into magenta, chartreuse, pink mixed with orange, pure white and pitch black. Each grain weaves a pattern meticulously designed. / / I find inspiration in the simple elements of Nature by discovering, in a closer approach, their elaborated forms, their patterns and intricacies, their sheer beauty. They teach me a lesson on survival, too. The colour of each Indian Corn grain is goverened by genes. The pigment may aid in the defense against diseases, hence, a wide array of colours in a single corn ear raises the chances of survival. / / As myriad colours happen in a single corn ear, each one is unique in its design.
