This is the second HDR image shot the other day on my girlfriend’s property.. I was inspired to try my hand at an HDR involving a dam after seeing some of the brilliant work here on the Bubble.. I think it turned out well and I liked how the image almost looks as though it is bent if you look at the tree line.. / As always comments are most welcome! Thanks a lot for looking! INSPIRED BY THE SONG…”All by myself” / Same place as Peaceful but a year later.I’m passing by that little lake everyday and I always look in case I would see a few ducks or special shadows and reflections. That early morning, same day as Quiet Moments was so foggy,I had a huge fun shooting. / St-Hippolyte,north of Quebec,Canada. / / /

A quiet pond where I love to go, very secluded, peaceful, and tranquil. / Kananaskis Country, Alberta / Canada

This image is from Sukhothai in Northern Thailand. As I understand it, this pond was used by royalty for their daily bathing. / One local newspaper thought it was so good they ‘stole’ it for a full page spread on Sukhothai. I wrote to them several times but – no response. / All I wanted to know is where they got it from. My guess is a lab I had some work printed at in Bangkok. Oh well, at least it was published !

~ the last dip ~
by adgrayI love the last warm days of autumn – and yes I’d be in this pond in a flash! / Can you hear the whoop echo with the splash?
A stunning image from Mr Joseph Valcourt brought memories flooding back to me of playing in a river with canoes and such … [not so long ago only about 2 years since last I took scouts canoing! ☺] / Enjoy! ♥

Green has always been my favorite color; then one day, someone told me, “Green is the color of hope.” Now I know why it is so appealing. I designed this collage of images in celebration of my favorite color and for HOPE which the world needs so much.
