  • Off Albany
    by Tainia Finlay

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Taken on a deep sea fishing extravaganza off the coast at Albany, WA. There is a light house built decades ago on the Island which would have mean’t hard work at the time I’m sure. It was a rough day out there which I loved, here the seas were less choppy sheltered by the Island. Catch of the day was a 20 Kilo King fish (by me) who nearly fell off the other side of the boat when it emerged with help from the skipper. The skipper also won the catch as I was heading up to Perth the same day. Thank you for looking :D

  • This was taken at Cape Spear in Newfoundland. I was there on holiday this summer visiting my brother

  • Lighthouse
    by Cherie Kennedy

    US$4.99–US$114.00

This lighthouse sits on a beach close to the southernmost tip of India. A place where the world’s 3 great oceans meet. The land is some of the most fertile and abundant in the country. The literacy rate is one of the highest at 97%. I often used to watch the daily morning catch. As I watched the ladies ferrying their loads of fish, I mused about how often we can be consumed by the burdens of life, the mundane and well worn paths of routine that we tread. If we could but stop, if only for a moment, and see the beauty and sources of light that inhabit our world around us.

  • Roker Pier
    by Alan Rodmell

    US$4.16–US$95.00

Taken during the first few months of my photography obsession. While I was fishing on Roker Pier in Sunderland. I decided that a lot of my early work needed some editing. This is the first of many. Constructive Criticism welcome

  • Fishing on the rocks...
    by MikeO

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Lighthouse at Umhlanga rocks… While still playing around with the conversion (copying each channel of RGB and then adjusting the opacity of each), I ended up with this version. I feel this better portrays the mood and misty conditions at the time… Regards, Mike

  • Fishing on the rocks...
    by MikeO

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Umhlanga lighthouse, Kwa-zulu Natal, RSA The B&W better suits the mood and actual conditions at the time – approaching dusk on a day with light drizzle and mist which didn’t deter the fisherman at all. B&W conversion using a technique I read about in a magazine. Instead of doing a straight desaturation, copy each channel of RGB and adjust the opacity which gives far better control of the finished result. Regards, Mike
