"Take no thought for your life." Matthew 6:25 How good those words sound from our God, but how difficult they are to put into practice out in the world. In this teaching Jesus is telling us to make seeking Him the priority of our lives, and He will take care of all of our needs. What I often forget is that Jesus already knows about my needs and circumstances, not only for today, but for the future. Help me Father to focus my life on following and pleasing You. Lead me to excellent places with Your wonderful council and wisdom. This painting was inspired by the powerful devotions penned and published by Oswald Chambers in the early 1900’s. His powerful book, My Utmost for His Highest, continues to touch my life and draw me closer to Jesus. I hope that this art and verse do the same for you!
