Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles, California, detail. Architect: Frank Gerhy. note: home page feature 9/22/08 / Pair with… / and… / / / NOTE: Crossroads was nominated to the Pay It Forward group by Geoff Coleman and here is what he had to say: “There is an effortless grace and perfection in Julian Escardo’s architectural compositions that make him, by far and away, the best photographer of line and form I’ve come across anywhere. It’s a rare thing for an artist to add value to another artist’s work but that is what Julian does in his images of architect Frank Gehry’s buildings such as Crossroads.” I am grateful for this as I am to be your contact Geoff – I also am (and have been for some time) a keen enthusiast of your work, thank you!

Pen and ink drawing of a guy I knew once he was the most fasionable transient I ever knew. So the guy he was homeless right and he layered his suit pants and his suit shirts and all he needed was some shoes and a coat. So I bought him a suit jacket and shoes and he got a job. In Missoula Montana there are a lot of homeless people. I have been fortunate enough to make friends with many. I try to do what I can for people! God knows my heart is full and my pockets are empty…. / God bless and One Love, / Kimberly Hoffard

Found this lurking in a hard drive. Taken from the Eureka tower last year just before they banned cameras in ‘The Edge’ – a glass ‘box’ that extends out from the top floor and hangs over the city 92 floors below. This image was taken through the floor of ‘The Edge’. I adjusted the levels aggressively and burned the reflections of the people to make them stand out more. /
