  • Resting grounds by Fremme

Took this image during my weekend as we went and hiked up to Cheakamus Lake here in Whistler, one of the easiest hikes around Whistler but with a such rewards as the Lake is Emerald (goggle Cheakamus Lake for more information)This is part of the Garibaldi Provincial Park . It was a great day, low clouds and raining a little bit which means the lake wasn’t as bright as it usually would be but still well worth the walk. Like any big lakes around, here, we came across a bunch of dead tree along the shore near the river head and thought it might make for an interesting POV. • Abandoned Station Master's House by David Craker

The Rupanyup Railway Station and Station Master’s House have been abandoned since the early 1980s when rail transport of grain from the wheat silos in the main town ceased to be used and road transport replaced the process. The Railway Station is home to many pigeons and a few abandoned Mercedes Benz cars. Thoughts to restore the Railway Station to it’s former glory as a tourist attraction have faded over the years and it is relegated to a lost era of railway architecture and beauty. Pentax K-200D – 100 iso – set at 55mm with 18-55mm lens – 1/125 sec – f8
