At the request of my husband, Pastor Paul or as you may know him Yellow Jacket, I am writing to inform you that he is back in a care facility. Last week new infections over came his immune system once again. He went into a coma despite the efforts of his medical team. While he has often proved medical science wrong by over coming many physical problems in his life and while only our Lord Jesus has control, his doctors indicate there is nothing more they can do. With that in mind, the family, according to his wishes, has requested that no further heroic medical measures be taken just to keep the body alive.
Over the past several years, he often said how great the people on this forum are and how kind they were to him. Being so handicaped, he often found the internet difficult. I beleive he had the most difficulty with his inablility to keyboard like most. But, because of you, the people of this forum, you permitted him to participate without prejudging him. I would like to thank each and everyone of you very much.
I have one last request, however, a prayer for rest, comfort and peace in what seem to be his last few days here on earth, a prayer of thanks for his many care givers and please pray for courage for me as there will be a very large hollow place in my heart.
Again, as one of his last request while he could still communicate, your Yellow Jacket, my Paul wished me to Thank You. THANK YOU, A GREAT BIG THANK YOU!

Yeah, I’m crying too. Paul is a special man, that although I have never met face to face, I feel is a true friend. He has been on my heart for about a week. I think that it is a testament to Paul, that he wanted “us” to be notified, about his health. Thank YOU for letting all of us know. We “will” pray for you, his family and Paul. I also have a friend in Scotland, Mairi, who was friends with Paul, and she is away at the time, but I know she would want you to know that she thought a lot of him, and had much in common, (their faith)..... So, for the both of us… Mairi, and myself, I think of the verse… “yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou are with me, Thy rod and Thy staff shall comfort me, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord…...forever”!!!!!
