Dinner!
Green Moray
I have a guest for you all can I introduce M…
The eye looks weird because the moray lived in very shallow bright conditions and was blind. I came across it in an underwater photo competition and was puzzled why my fellow competitors seemed to have missed it. If I had paid proper attention at the dive briefing I would have known that this moray kept attacking divers and was best avoided. It tried to bite me three times. The first two times I gave it a warning smack with my camera, the third time a hard smack….and fled! Everyone thought I had been brave and I won one of the main prizes, a holiday, for this “bravery”. Ever since then I’ve listened more carefully to briefings! Malcolm ( www.malcolmnobbs.com )

oh mate, this is scary! what a magnificent specimen he is tho, wow!
i’m scared of eels traceyanne..i went diving at the wrecks at Tangalooma on Moreton Island and turned around to see one of these things staring and breathing at me …..i scrambled back into the boat so fast!!!! i like baby ones, but the big blokes can keep their ocean…i’m leaving them well alone…...

Always best to listen to instructions. But in the off chance you live through the ordeal, you get a shot like this. A shot like this… safety… a shot like this… safety… a shot like this
-Wait a minute I’m thinking. Nope, I’d be glued to the diving instructor. Good picture.traceyanne in reply to Sarah McKoy’s comment, 7 months ago
