Some abstracts work for me, and others leave me cold – and yet I often find it hard to say why, in either case. This one I do like; the colours, the clearly delineated forms, and the contrast between rectangular and circular all seem right. Also, the glowing effect of the bright highlights (is that a photographic effect, or was it in the original?).
