The doe took a little time off from busy eating for the photo opportunity, although she didn’t want to give up the tasty colorful leaf.
By now everyone who has ever seen my work knows that I’m absolutely “addicted” to develop a deep relationship and establish an intimate communication with mule deer (we don’t have a lot of white-tailed deer around here). Everyday I go out there in the early mornings, hoping to have a close encounter! :)
