I was walking down a fire-track in the Adelaide hills late this afternoon when I spotted a shallow creek coming from a concrete pipe. Lo and behold, this was floating in the shallow water.
Most amazingly, whilst I had one leg on either side of the creek trying to get low enough to take the shot, a group of ladies walked by with their pram and toddler. The mother offered to take the shot of me attempting to get out of the creek!

Very cleverly done. The droplet looks like moten silver or mercury. I love the way the drops let seems to “turn” at te ribs in the leaf.

Very much like mercury, What’s more amazing is that it exists around that rip in the leaf.
