Cheers Basiamc, the field in this photo is now an housing estate, this used to be one of our playing fields as a kid at the end of our garden. The photo has become a memory of childhood and fun days (unintentionally).

WOW! What a shot, you’re description of you’re childhood memories seems to sum up this image perfectly. I remember those days of lugging a camera bad full of gear and filters around, although I never used my filters to such stunning effects as this. Beautiful picture well done!

Booboo, It’s still worth lugging the gear around but I have to admit that it recent times I’m more prone to post processing but you can’t beat seeing it in the viewfinder before pressing the shutter!

Hello Chriso, sorry I just missed your comment, I used filters on the lens, a centre spot and a warm up filter – Cokin P range – Warm up P037 or P027 Centre Spot P071, shot on Fuji Velvia (I always shoot 3 frames when using slide (dia) – meter reading, 0.5 stop under and 0.5 stop over exposure to achieve a correct exposure , medium telephoto around 70mm and most importantly a “Soft Irish day” for lighting and tripod.
