This image was shot with a long exposure on colour print film using red, yellow and green-coloured 25w halogen light globes as the light source.

awesome! i am a lighting freak and this image really interests me….may I ask how long this exposure was…?

Oh boy – now you’re testing my memory (I’m not scientific enough to keep notes). The photo was taken some time ago, and if I remember correctly the exposure was in the order of 5 seconds. The film was 100 ISO and there was very little light from the globes. Thanks for the compliment, too!

Brilliant. I really like the clear separation of colours, especially the green on the face and the red in the hair.
