Thankyou Craig! Greyhounds are a joy to paint, their eyes are just so expressive. This one was a Rescue (off the track) called Gilley from the UK.

Awwwww :) My Father calls the Greyhound Races in Horsham, at least I think he still does ;) He used to call Sandown and Moonee Valley in Melb. So being around them, one day when I was very young, he brought one home :) A retired lovely young lady called Maggie. :) She was our pet and she had a litter while she was with us :) They are just the most loyal and affectionate dogs I have ever been around :) :)

You lucky thing! I’d love a greyhound they are such a beautiful breed. We would need fences all round our property first, so I think that it will be a long while before I could get one.
If anyone is considering adding a dog to their family, definitely consider getting a greyhound, as Craig said they are loyal, affectionate and good with kids (when their racing careers are over or if they are not good enough to race they need good homes to go to).

VBS Do Whippets have the same Traits do you know Michelle? Very similar breed, just a lot smaller eh :) But yes, Greyhounds are one of the best loyal and loving dog breeds I can think of. I love my Fudge to death, but he’s no good around kids. Must be in his breed I guess. I’d LOVE a full size Poodle. Hehehehe YUM!! What a lot of looking after though eh ;)
