    Another beautiful scenery.. well marvelous scenery with a fantastic composition with the vicunas.. the mountain behind looks like the volcano Licancabur.. I wonder if it is ???

    I can recognise Licancabur from the San Pedro direction, but this was shot on the road down from the Tatio Geisers, so I am not sure. Thanks for your kind comments!

    National Geographic, here you come! This is more than worthy of its revered pages! I love the composition which is impeccable, the blues and browns which are a favorite combination of mine, and the shadows of the clouds on the desert floor. W O W!

    Thank you! Vicunas are the smallest member of the llama family actually! They are quite similar to llamas but much more dainty! ;o)

    great shot and marvelous colors. Love it. Thanks for your visit to my owl. The main feature was the eyes so of course the tight crop. Your photo almost looks like a herd of camels. Had to look twice. LOL.
