These are great. A lovely tribute. Very classy.

thanks Zoltan… it’s a shame that you can’t really see the texture as that is really what makes these two little images so special…. I’m glad you like them…..:)

Stunning work, Juilee.
Juilee Pryor in reply to LostGod’s comment, about 1 month ago
it’s both…. first a photo… look at her face and hands…. then I’ve painted straight on to it with special photo oil paint…. neat hey…....:)
Juilee Pryor in reply to Helen Bascom’s comment, about 1 month ago

An artist is an eye and a mind – bobbing about in a stew of feelings. In this and its companion piece you answer the question, “Can still art dynamically reveal a story arc?”
Thanks…

hi Linda… thanks heaps darlin…. I am always trying to do what I can to honour my sister…. dead for so many years now but she lives in my mind and always will….....
Juilee Pryor in reply to Ted Byrne’s comment, about 1 month ago
Hi Ted…. thanks for your perceptive comments. I am always searching for way to bring dynamism to my still images….. and my photographs are my stories…....:)

I would imagine you have these on your walls at home…..........they REALLY ARE SO VERY SPECIAL….........not just because she was your precious sister, but also because they are truely beautiful artworks in their OWN RIGHT. I dig them….......... Your best artwork in my eyes….......... xxL

I’d love to see these in real life one day, Juilee…the texture almost shows, but I’m sure it’d be way more noticeable on the actual print. Love what you’ve done with them, and what a beautiful tribute to your sister. So much for me to learn, and so little time!!
Juilee Pryor in reply to Ange’s comment, about 1 month ago
thanks Ange…. they are so old but they are just so bright and crisp still….. it’s the oil paint that does that… I’m so glad you like these…...:)
Juilee Pryor in reply to Mel Brackstone’s comment, about 1 month ago
Hi Mel…. they are only really small little pictures but just so bright and tactile…. the paint is really thick on these two….. I reckon you’d really like this tecnique…... :)
