Naked Mummy by Zoe Thomas

My daughter Zoe painted this when she had just turned 5, she is now 6. She is an amazing artist. Zoe and I will often have painting days together. She once told me “Why can’t I paint as well as you?” I was shocked and turned to her and said “Zoe, everyone’s style is different and your artwork is amazing – I wish I could paint like you!” People think I’ve taught Zoe how to paint but what people don’t understand is she has taught me more!! So I hope others enjoy her work as much as I do.

I wanted to make a profile on here for her but because she is under 16 I wasn’t able to so I thought I would add a few pieces to mine which has really made her day – she is eagerly awaiting feedback :)

I think she’s got quite steady hands for a 5yr old ~ very impressive, she should
be given the encouragement to develop further.

Thanks John – she loves to paint and does so very often we also visit art galleries and talk alot about art

LOL Kids can really do a number on us huah , the eyes of a child sees no flaws.

My child is into drawing too. I never taught here either. she just learned all on her own.
