That’s a great close-up shot of a rather freaky looking owl ! Was this in the wild? What species is it? Here in England a Screech Owl is another name for the Barn Owl.

This one is an Eastern Screech-Owl (Megascops asio),He currently lives at The Bush Wildlife Sanctuary in Jupiter, Florida

Fabulous shot. Were you in the actual sanctuary (ie not separate by any fencing) when you took this? Its a simply wonderful shot with great clarity. Thanks too for the helpful guidelines on uploading images with frames etc.
