Old Friends

This shot was taken in Copacabana in 2006, a little town in the north of Bolivia, situated on the bank of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world at 3800 mts.
There was a big celebration in town that day and so much to see and discover. But I was so tired that I decided to sit down and rest for a while when those two men sat just in front of me. I took so many pictures of them but this one is my favorite.

I love it. I am afraid I have no original words to add, other than to reflect on those of Ange and hugo. You certainly nailed it! I was looking for a stronger word than ‘nailed’ but when I came up with ‘screwed’ I decided it was better left as ‘nailed’.

Wow – this is perfect!!! Fantastic composition and beatuiful treatment it so works in sepia. This picture really tells a thousand stories & how much would I love to be sat there chatting with these two – well ok so I would ruin the shot I know but they look like they could tell a tale or two!!!
