“Always glancing skywards wishing for the brief appearance of a bird, I started discovering nests built in unusual yet very convenient places from the bird’s point of view.
“In a display of urban adaptation, these nests follow the shape of the element containing them, in most cases, huge billboard letters of the round and cosy type.”

That’s hilarious, but not surprising. I often see bird’s nests in unusual places. Sometimes you wonder what the bird was thinking, and how the nest has managed to actually stay there without falling out. Great photo.

I am always astonished by the nests of Mourning Doves. Being quite a large bird, the pair build a precarious nest between two thin branches with little apparent support. She remains caring for her single young for long months, until the fledgling reaches her own size. Observing both large birds sharing a tiny nest which seems to fall apart any time, fills me with awe and wonder.
