Analytical Moment

A composition made up of several drawings placed over the top of each other in photoshop. This is a painting that I have developed in Photoshop using my abstract drawings originally based on a stool covered in paper. The original drawings are in pastels and charcoal. I am currently in the middle of completing the painting using acrylic on board.

this is beautiful Cate..
it reminds me of the green opals my dad got from Lightning Ridge
still clinging to the rocks….untouched, but extremely beautiful when
the light hits the surface…you can see all the beautiful glittery bits
embedded in the rock….you’ve done a magnificent piece here Cate!

Kate this is just amazing feeling work.. I like to think it is a left brain moving towards the right brain area… the coming together of the two to give us our life here… Oh Cate.. can you put a little verse to this.. the muted colors are what grab me too.
