Bella, Wow this image is extraordinary….the appeal is almost overwhelming for me. A touch of historical, a wave of mythological, a clash of Thor….
Bloody brilliant composition and lighting delight…..

Very nice Rhana and I couldnt agree more about the artistic vision taking priority most of the time – when you see it, you just gotta go get it

Can’t stop quoting songs or lines from them today.
“I’ve got the gift of one liners, you’ve got the curse of curves”.
Your mentioning of the curse of creativity drew me to that line with the curves element being the light adjustment tools in Paint Shop / Photoshop (insert whatever editing software used) obviously.
I needed to pre empt any hostility that could have been read from a mis interpretation of my use of the word curves.
Anway, it’s a song I didn’t write, but I like it, and that description made me sing it, so I thought i’d share it with you if you’re still reading this comment by this point (and not drifted off bored and read the 10 above it again, that have magically appeared in the time it took me to type my irrelevant and crazed ramblings – It is 11 a.m. and I have had no coffee yet – I feel a little peculiar)
Oh, add comment about the shot, ok then….. (Note limited use – I have seen the wrath when I get carried away – Just stop prattling on and talk about the photo – ED)
Gorgeous statue with exquisitly held lighting which showcases the immense detail and magnitude of its scuplting. The choice of angle works well with the sun, casting an almost Halo like effect around the statue.
The buildings in the background are equally majestic in their architecture, once again highlighted by the softest of touches in light.
A photograph that is equal in its execution as the architecture and sculptering of the features it has captured
Bravo

Glad Stuart left us all a little bit of room to comment as this is brilliant Rhana! The light and colours in this are fantastic. Such a great angle on this and the light and clouds behind the horse are a real winner!

The atmosphere is almost as good as that angle. Straight away, I felt like someone hired a hitman on horseback and, for some reason, sent him to me! In awe, just before being tramped to death.
