Black & Yellow Helicopter by jesika
2006 was a wonderful year for butterflies, moths and wasps. November was bright & sunny, but cold enough to slow the last wasps of the year. This one obliged me by flying backwards & forwards so I was able to get a couple of shots. / 061106 / Sony H5 crop only / 171108 / 00% of ALL sales will benefit Butterfly Conservation Society (UK). / www.butterfly-conservation.org My Images Do Not Belong To The Public Domain. About This Group
Bee`s Wasps
Bees are flying insects closely related to wasps and ants. Bees are a monophyletic lineage within the superfamily Apoidea, presently classified by the unranked taxon name Anthophila. There are nearly 20,000 known species of bee, in nine recognized families,[1] though many are undescribed and the actual number is probably higher. They are found on every continent except Antarctica, in every habitat on the planet that contains insect-pollinated flowering plants.
Many are dying off… Man and parasites … But we all need them
So tell your friends and friends of friends come join in and show us your Bee…
We really would like to thank each and every one for adding your works of art
