Tiny Oysters by Carla Jandelle Petters
The macro world just never ceases to amaze…......these are the undersides to what I believe are a type of Crepidotus….possibly C. casatii. Would LIKE it to because then it’d possibly be a new fungi for Kansas. / ... / Bad me…I DID play with the colorations here…..it was a photo taken back when I didn’t have a good macro camera….so decided to have a tad bit of fun.

Pastel Spiral by Kinnally
I love the beautiful soft but bold pastel colors in this artwork, and the intricate patterns caused by the little cutout areas. You can see inside of each little overlapping sphere through the cutouts, and see how the spheres merge together. It’s a fractal, so the pattern repeats infinitely into the depths of the spiral shape. Available for sale at my online gallery

TRAVIS, WE HAVE A PROBLEM by SMOKEYDOGSOCKS
IN THIS PHOTO, I STARTED WITH A SHOT OF THE LOCKHEED C-17 GLOBEMASTER AND ADDED A LARGE LENS FLAIR. I INVERTED THE COLOR SPECTRUM AND EQUALIZED THE IMAGE. ALONG WITH SEVERAL OTHER FILTER CHANGES THAT I HAVE FORGOTTEN. I WENT BACK AND ADDED THE BLUE TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A SKY WITH A SPACE SHIP IN IT COMING DOWN ON THE C-17 AND PROJECTING AN INTENSE BEAM OF LIGHT OR ENERGY ALL AROUND IT. I CAN IMAGINE THE PILOT RADIOING BACK TO BASE WITH SOMETHING LIKE, “TRAVIS, WE HAVE A PROBLEM”. THAT WOULD SURE SHAKE UP SOME LOGISTICS PEOPLE. FOR MANY YEARS NOW, THE GOVERNMENT HAS BEEN COVERING UP AS MUCH ABOUT UFO’S AS THEY POSSIBLY COULD. LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVE SEEN THINGS UP IN THE SKY AND HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS. PERSONALLY, I’VE ONLY SEEN ONE AIR CRAFT THAT I COULDN’T IDENTIFY AND IT NEITHER LOOKED LIKE NOR ACTED LIKE A NORMAL AIRCRAFT. WHEN AIRPLANES FLY AWAY FROM YOU, THEY GO ON A DOWNWARD LOOKING LINE, THIS, WHAT EVER IT WAS THAT I SAW, WENT AWAY FROM ME ON AN UPWARD ANGLE. FIRST IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS JUST HOUVERING IN ONE SPOT, THEN IT MOVED VERY RAPIDLY SOUTH, THEN IT STARTED THE AWAY MOVEMENT AS IT CLIMBED AWAY AT A RATHER FAST RATE OF SPEED. TO THIS DAY, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS, BUT I CAN TELL YOU THIS, I’VE BEEN AROUND ALL SORTS OF AIRCRAFT ALL OF MY LIFE AND WHAT I SAW THAT DAY, WASN’T A CRAFT BUILT BY HUMANS. AT LEAST NOT HUMANS OF THIS TIME.
