Beware of the Dog by Michael Bermingham
For the Do-over group Whilst taking photos at a nearby lake, and finally getting the ducks to piss off (nice calm water) A Labrador came out of no-where and plunged head long into the lake right in front of me, and proceeded to swim some 30 metres out causing ripples for the next 10 minutes. / Bloody irresponsible owners!!! / lol

Big Red by Andy Mueller IPA
I am submitting this image to the Do-Over group. If only I could take this shot again! This reddish Golden Retriever is a POWERHOUSE. He will retrieve for days. He’s a true working dog, mostly retrieving game from the water. Here we were just playing retrieve the ball. Wished I would have gotten his entire head in the shot. Image is 100% as shot out of the Nikon D200 with the Sigma 50-500mm lens. HDR Images / Prague Images / Aviation Related Images

Red Bull by Jon C
I was on the south coast photographing seagulls, they were swerving and diving at the last moment as I pressed the shutter release. Finally, after many failures I caught sight of a gull heading towards me out the corner of my eye, I framed the shot, waited….and fired!...Just as my wife decided it was time to move on and stood up!!! Arghhhhhhh!!!!!! This was definitely a `once in a blue moon’ occasion!!

Almost. by Michael Bermingham
Ok, this is what my life is like. One of the best strikes of the night and the camera is out of focus!!!!! A little hint to all budding Lightning photographers… When your camera is set to manual focus, and youre shooting in total darkness… DO NOT use your shirt sleeve to wipe off rain droplets from the front of your lens!!!! / As careful as you are, a hudredth of a degree turn on the lens is enough to make that Cracking shot…..a pile of crap.

Resolutions and Aiming for in 2009 on Redbubble / (This should be done by everyone on redbubble, in order to stimulate everyone and to do his/her best to promote his/her art. I hope that this journal is accepted in every group. This will produce more constructive work both for the individuals and also for the groups) 2008 has passed by and a new year has started. Everyone has his/her own resolutions and aims for the New Year. I will discuss mine with you. Emotions / On several times, I was on the verge of leaving Redbubble, but there was always something that told me NO. Most of this something was YOU : / YOU who bought my card, / YOU who add me to your watchlist, / YOU who favored my work, and / YOU who commented on my work. 2008 / So, with your help, this year I will aim for big!! / During 2008 I had nearly 20000 views(19506) on my art (excluding journals & clothing). / During December 2008 I had over 3000 views, my work was featured 25 times, I was featured 4 times, 2* of my art were used as avatars and I had a *photo featured on the redbubble homepage. 2009 / For 2009 I am aiming for some 36000 views (bringing a total of some 56000). / I am also aiming to sell at least SIX pieces of art. / (all this can only happen with your help). Also, since October, I stared my Monthly Journals where I record all my happenings in the respective month. Another idea that I came with was to create journals which gather together some photos to form a set. In this way, people visiting your page can get a good picture of what you are up to, and instead of one photo, you can sell a whole set:- / Maltese Boats / From the Past / I will gradually continue to increase these number of sets, and I will create a new Journal called Sets which will include a link to alll my sets. Now, YOU - / What are your aims? / What are you expecting from yourself in redbubble during 2009 ? Is there anything that I can help you with? / DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME. / (by the way – I am just a rookie/amateur in photography, but I am sure that I will expand my talent AND YOU CAN DO IT TOO) I JUST HOPE THAT WITH THIS JOURNAL I AM DELIVERING SOMETHING POSITIVE TO YOU MY LATEST WORK / Regards, Christian Zammit / Visit my gallery / Monthly Journals

About This Group
Welcome to the ””Do Over”” group. We all are striving for perfection in our work and tend to only post quality images. I am moderating this group, in order for photographers to post images that in their mind would be a ””Wall Hanger””, if the shot could have been taken again. Let’s make this the ””lighter side”” of only going for perfection, perhaps we could share a laugh about the mistakes that were made, and perhaps even learn from them.
Rules and Entry:
1. You may only upload one image per day, and it will require moderator approval.
2. Images uploaded are so good, with the exception of one ot two MAJOR flaws, that you just cannot get yourself to delete the image from your computer. If you could have only had another chance, this shot would have been a ””wall hanger””.
3. Please state the mistake that you made (although it should be obvious!!!), and what you would have changed, had you had another chance of taking the same image again.
4. Let’s have fun with this and laugh about missing that perfect shot! “
5. Please re-read #2 & #3, and submit image/painting. only if it meets those guidelines.
Thanks, let’s post some real goof-ups!!!
